Due to an unprecedented amount of support and involvement from The Running community following our inaugural event last April we have had to ramp things up by more than just a notch.

Now, The Running Awards 2015 will involve more categories, more voters and now a stunning new venue. The indigo at the O2 will play host to what will be a bigger, bolder and most importantly more inclusive awards ceremony. As awards for runners, voted by runners we needed the capacity to be able to invite not just our top nominees, but also our voters, so the iconic London venue was perfect.

With April being such an important month in the running calendar the ideal date, 24th April, was booked. Many of the running community will be taking part in The Virgin London Marathon Expo that week in the Excel Centre, a great event last year, so we decided to be just a 5 minute cable car away!

Ticket details will be announced shortly, but in the meantime to make sure the true runners favourites are recognised please come vote for free here!

We will of course be keeping the best parts of the 2014 awards format, such as supporting the runners’ favourite charity, keeping all votes/nominations free and compiling a playlist of the most popular songs to run to. However, we love any feedback we get so please drop us an e-mail if you have any thoughts about the awards, their categories, nominees or running in general.

Can’t wait…
