We were delighted with the overwhelming success of The Running Awards 2014 which took place at the 5 star Grange St Pauls Hotel in central London on April 11th.

After over 40,000 votes winners were announced at the awards Gala Dinner, hosted by BBC's Mike Bushell, with special guests including Charlie Webster and Laura Wight, in the company of the best across the running industry. The night's entertainment kicked off with a champagne reception, followed by some great running anicdotes from Bushell and a 3 course dinner before the winners were announced.

Sweatshop, Ashmei, Brooks and Rocktape took home trophies in the larger categories whilst individual bloggers, authors and small retailers achievements were also recognised, as the running community came together to celebrate!

The annual event raised money and awareness for CLIC Sargent, who were voted as ‘Runners Favourite charity’, due not only to their great work but also the support they provide their runners. One of their ambassadors, Nigel Crutchley, was also awarded the Running Hero accolade as he moves closer to his target of raising £1m for the charity.

Charlie Webster also received special recognition for her incredible feat of 250 miles in just 7 days, an endeavour also done to raise money and awareness for charity.
